Alphonse Mellot Estate Sancerre La Moussiere 2006
Aromas of tangerine, tropical fruit, pear and flint stone. Bone dry, crisp and refreshing, just like a Sancerre should be.
Food match: Brandade of salt cod, eggplants grilled in olive oil and garlic, salmon tartare with avocado and chives, salmon trout with sorrel, sea bass with fennel, salmon with sorrel and braised tuna with tomato.

This is one of Alphonse Mellot’s simpler wines, a deliciously fresh, summer meadow wine, with herbs and perfumed flowers and a stream of acidity running through.
