Casa Marin Lo Abarco Hills Pinot Noir 2004
 |

BN#224029 |
Intense aromas of plums and raspberries, with subtle undertones of smoke and vanilla. Long persistence with smooth, complex tannins.
Wine Advocate
Casa Marin’s portfolio is most impressive. The San Antonio Valley is a cool climate region particularly suited to the production of Pinot Noir. However, the white wines from Casa Marin are every bit as good. The 2004 Pinot Noir – Lo Abaca Hills is dark ruby in color with a raspberry/strawberry bouquet. On the palate it is rich, plush, and has serious depth and intensity as well as a very long finish. This is a candidate for best Pinot Noir of my tastings.
Score: 92.
