The 2002 is a lovely vintage. it is very typical of its appellation, with beautiful, pure hints of candied fruit. it enchants the palate thanks to its voluptousness and alluring freshness. This vintage is so forthcoming that it enables wine lovers to enter the universe of Yquem as of now.
Wine Spectator
Beautiful apple, vanilla and honey aromas, with just the right amount of new wood. Full-bodied, medium sweet, with lots of pretty pineapple, honey and new wood. Long and refined. A beautifully silky and balanced Sauternes. Lots of intensity and well-knit. Nothing comes close in this vintage. Best after 2009.
